Youth

St. Francis Youth Site

St. Francis Church offers many programs for our youth.

Catholic Youth Ministry (CYM). The St. Francis CYM ensures our high school students stay active in the community! CYM members meet once a month, usually after 9:30 Mass the first Sunday of each month. In addition to their regular meetings, CYM members participate in elderly activities at the nursing home and also host kid’s day with many fun activities. The group isn’t all about work, they enjoy an annual float trip and conference convention. Also, they are active in the deanery sports including: basketball, volleyball, softball, and the dodge ball tournament. Follow the St. Francis Aviston CYM Facebook Site for current events!

Parish School of Religion (PSR). The St. Francis PSR program focuses on our youth from first through eighth grade. Classes are held at the Aviston Grade School from August through May. When enrollment is open, you can complete the Online PSR Registration Form under the "Links & Forms" tab of this website.

Sunday School. The St. Francis Sunday School program offers our three year olds through Kindergarteners an opportunity to begin discovering God. Classes are held during Sunday 9:30am Masses from September through May. When enrollment is open, you can complete the Online Sunday School Registration Form under the "Links & Forms" tab of this website.

Vacation Bible School (VBS). St. Francis is proud to offer a one week VBS program during the summer months. The program is developed for children from Kindergarten through fifth grade. It is typically held the first full week of July, following the July 4th holiday. The 9:00-12:00 daily program includes Bible scriptures, activities and more!
